Summer in the mountains

In the Beaufort valley you will find more than 200 miles of signposted pathways ranging between 1600 – 10.000 feet. Along theses hiking trails you will come along the numerous cowherds that are browsing on the alpine pastures and who give this unique and delicious taste to the renowned Beaufort cheese. On the trails you can spot chamoises, deer, ibexes and marmots and you can discover beautiful alpine pasture with richly coloured flowers and plant life.
